“The New Hampshire Institute of Art is pleased to announce Biennial 2009, a regional juried exhibition for New England artists. This exhibition of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and illustration will be on display in both the French Building Gallery and Amherst Gallery. Juror Mikaela Sardo Lamarche, Curator, ACA Galleries, New York, is responsible for organizing all thematic and historical exhibitions as well as traveling shows for the gallery. ACA Galleries, established in 1932, specializes in 19th and 20th century American Art, Modern and Contemporary paintings, drawings and sculpture including the Stieglitz Circle, Ashcan School, Social Realism and Abstract Expressionism.”
