Please join us in celebrating the inclusion of Elinor Carucci’s work in Parallel Perceptions at the newly renovated David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center, Friday, November 6, 5:00-8:00 pm.
Elinor Carucci engages her own relatives in the examination of familial drama. Her images are characterized by their cinemagraphic and voyeuristic gaze, engaging themes of identity, aging, and intimacy with startling humor and sincerity.
The exhibition highlights contemporary photographers work in relation to the 2009-2010 City Opera Season. Additional artists showcased in this inaugural program are Christopher Morris, Rachel Papo and E.V. Day whose site specific installation fills the theater’s Promenade. NYT link
