Portrait Show opens at I-20 Gallery this week
I have portraits from my “Tribe” series showing at I-20 Gallery in a group portrait photography exhibition curated by Simon Watson.

“Tribe” is a series of intimate portraits of individuals, couples, and groups who have demonstrated a willingness to expose their sexuality and emotional vulnerability. The work aims to articulate the nonverbal space between openness and self-protection and express the tension inherent in the spiritually complex experience of intimacy.

The exhibition is coupled with a solo show by Brazilian landscape painter Lucas Arruda who will have works in the front room of the gallery.

Descry Magazine Publication

I’m thrilled to have my work published in a new photography magazine based out of San Francisco, Descry in its 3rd and special limited edition Spring 2011 issue “Someone Stole My Heart” on pages 16-18.

Descry was founded, published and edited by Chelsea Rae Klein.

You’ll see my still-life series “Un-Earthly Remains” from a few years back paired with an image from “Me Into You” and it’s been especially nice to see the juxtaposition of the two bodies of work, both of which deal with sensuality and the body in very different ways. You can buy issues of this magazine online or at various vendors including St. Marks Books in NYC.
