I am so excited to announce the launch of my limited edition print available for purchase through collect.give. For those of you unfamiliar with this organization, collect.give (“collect dot give”) was founded in Dec. 2009 as a place to collect contemporary photography while donating to worthy causes. The photographers selected to participate pledge to donate 100% of the profits from their print sales to a cause or charity of their choice.
The print I am offering is from my series titled “May the Road Rise to Meet You,” which recently received honors in the New York Photo Awards, Photolucida’s Critical Mass, and The Magenta Foundation’s Flash Forward Award. In this project, I shadowed my father, a telephone pole salesman of thirty years, on his cross-country trips to learn about his life away from home and the changing nature of “the road” in America.
The 8×10 print, edition of 20, is available for $50 (plus $5 S&H) with 100% of the profits to be donated to Camp Discovery, a week-long camp in Kerrville, Texas sponsored by the American Cancer Society for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. I wanted to share some exciting news. I have two limited edition prints for sale at Photo Center NW as part of their brand new Benefit Limited Edition Print Program. Check out the shop to see my prints as well as a beautiful print by Jock Sturges. Buy a print today! All sales will benefit the Photo Center’s non-profit programing and help support the artist!
Also, if you are in Seattle, stop by Gallery 110 to see the Annual Juried Exhibition with work from 23 artists, myself included, curated by Nora Atkinson from the Bellevue Arts Museum, only up for one more week!
