This weekend, the Brooklyn Museum is sponsoring a borough-wide open studio event and three SVA MFA Photo/Video students will be participating (Sally Bozzuto, Christopher Hunt and Ryan Vahey), along with some alumni (including Corinne Schulze).

The event is called GO Brooklyn!, and over 1100 artists will be opening their studio doors to visitors. This is a great opportunity to come support our department but also to see work (and workspaces) of many other artists! Check out the GO Brooklyn! website for more info:

There you can see lists of artists, search by neighborhood or media and you can even create an itinerary and register as a voter to vote for your favorites (who will be included in a show at the Brooklyn Museum.)

The event is from 11-7 both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, Sept 8 & 9.

The MFA Photo/Video studio is located at 37 Greenpoint Ave. (very close to the Greenpoint Ave. stop on the G train.) in studio 2B. All are welcome so please bring your friends!
