Sarah Palmer will be giving a lecture about her work next Tuesday, October 25, at the Penumbra Foundation as part of Penumbra's Artist Series.
The lecture will be held at Penumbra Foundation at 7PM 36 E. 30th St. New York, NY, 10016 (between Madison Ave. & Park Ave. South)
Sarah Palmer was born in San Francisco and lives in Brooklyn. She is an artist and an educator whose work has been exhibited most recently in "Original Copy" at the 2016 SPRING/BREAK Art Show, as well as at the Foam_fotografiemuseum and the Wild Project in recent years. She was awarded the 2011 Aperture Portfolio Prize and made a self-published artist book, Waves, in late 2015 and early 2016.

Additionally, Sarah has been working on the first two of (ultimately) three small artist books, Waves and Sea Garden. Both are available for sale in two editions, the first edition (of 50) consists of hand-bound inkjet prints, which she is selling with a unique (ed. 1 of 1) 5.6" x 7" (on 8.5" x 11" paper) archival pigment print from the book. Each edition includes a different print and is available for $100. The second edition (of 100) is a digital offset, perfect-bound book, printed by Conveyor Arts, and is available online for $25, with a debossed foil-stamp on the cover.
