Application to this department is a three-step process:
- Fill out the online application here: SVA Graduate Application. You can submit your portfolio after completing this step, but please remember to send in all supplementary materials to the SVA Office of Graduate Admissions before the January deadline, or your application will not be reviewed.
- Submit your portfolio of photos and/or video online here: Slideroom Portfolio Submission.
- After submitting your online application and portfolio, please send in your transcript, resume/CV, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, English proficiency test and declaration of finances (if applicable) to the Office of Graduate Admissions.
Deadline for Fall 2019 is January 15, 2018. After the deadline has passed, applicatons will be accepted and processed on a first-come, first-served basis, as space remains available.
Please note: Prospective students will be sorted into the 2-year or 3-year program after they apply, based on their transcripts, portfolio, and other application materials.

If you received an email that says your application is not complete, please read further down where this processing time is noted. If you purchased tracking for your materials, please refer to the delivery date to make sure that the package containing your information was delivered.
