Unbearable Pressure

Xiaolin Wang’s personal experience with depression provides the material from which she draws from for her project Unbearable Pressure. Wang creates a multi-faceted installation using the image and object as evocative symbols.  Less interested in bringing the viewer into her world, each aspect of the installation re-creates the repression, vulnerability and suffering associated with this mental illness.
