Zachary Boozer

Non-Euclidean Objects

Through 3D-scanning, digital sculpture, and 3D-printing, Zach's hybrid sculptural forms encourage viewers to have a deeper experience of their own surroundings.  He states: "I am implementing the use of 3D-scanning technologies in tandem with various computer software to interpret, transmute, and alter the data sets that are "collected" in the scanning process.  Subsequently, I output these digital data sets as physical sculptural entities.  I am considering all physical objects, including my own body, which I view as a physical conduit for my conscious being, and found objects, both digital and physical to be on the same plane."
